The Winning model

Version 2.0 - Working Model

  • It is a contarption made of wooden frame with card board slides controlled by a Nema-23 stepper motor.
  • The motor is programmed to loop and stop at regular intervals matching the slides.
  • The slides are mounted on a rotating hub which resembles a squirrel cage.
  • The hub end supports are 3d printed using Anet A5 printer in PLA.
  • The fibre glass sticks taken out of broken umbrellas (Yes, Infosys Umbrellas) are woven through the card board slides and mounted on the hub.
